Culture Nurture Ep. 11

How's it going, y'all! A new music video and a dope event are what's good this week.

People's Future just dropped a music video for their song "Ganito Ganyan." Check out Vito Crew's gnarly trio dropping their verses while watching what's going on here and there.

One of this year's illest events is going down on Saturday. Head down to Sarten Cafe in Antipolo and be a part of Spoken Herb for "an exploration of forward-thinking ideas in music and art." Come and be enveloped in underground hip-hop, jazz, dub, ethnic, sound design, spoken word and world rhythms as your eyes feast on  live art, handricafts and art works.

Culture Nurture Ep. 10

We've got only one but very important matter to talk about today.

Following the oppression that skateboarders in The Fort and Intramuros have experienced lately, steps have finally been made for some much-needed attention to the situation. A facebook page have been started to empower skateboarders in addressing this matter and finding steps to hopefully build a skate park somewhere in the Metro.

Make sure to like www.facebook.com/letussk8ph to join the movement. And to educate the masses and the authorities, Vans Philippines and welovepost.com started a series of video documentaries. Here's part 1 entitled "Hoodlums."
