Seen Scene Ep. 9

For today, here's a li'l recap of Wordplay x It Was Written, held last Saturday night at The Deck, Ronac Art Center.

I'm really feeling lazy right now, but let's just say that it's another "let the pictures tell you how it went down" episode again. But to guide you on what went down, it was Heez' birthday salubong, more ill performances, a cypher session, and of course, "It Was Written Ep. 13" which was the ender for the video blog's Season 1.

And here's the video for It Was Written Ep. 13. This one pretty much sums up how fun Wordplay is, capturing the friendship forged by the emcees and poets that write and perform for this event.

We've just witnessed June's edition of Wordplay last Saturday, the 30th. It was all mad fun, what with J-hon and Mike Swift hanging out and performing on stage. Add the ill poetry pouring out all night and I'm itching for more. So I hope y'all can come through next time, it's going down on the last Saturday of this month, July 28.
